Hi, my name is
I'm a software engineer / consultant at Aschehoug Undervisning and full-time student. Currently, I am enrolled at Molde University College where I pursue a bachelor's degree in IT and digitization, set to graduate in the autumn of 2022.
Hello! My name is Andreas.
My passion for programming started back in 2003 with the popular roleplaying game, Neverwinter Nights, tinkering with the toolset and lurking the official bulletin board to find tidbits of NWScript — a C-based scripting language, to reverse engineer and copy/paste into my desired functionality.
Fast-forward to today, through my work digitizing mathematics & science books I now have the priviledge to collaborate and share with others the technologies and concepts which so fascinated me during my younger years. I've also enjoyed the opportunity to explore teaching, and to organize and maintain a Discord channel and moderation bot for 1000+ student members at the university.
Some of the technologies I've recently used in my work, or had opportunity to explore during my studies are:
- MathML / MathJax
- HTML & CSS
- MySQL & MongoDB
Discord Moderation Bot
Started as a hobby project which over the years and many iterations has become an unofficial resource utilized in a majority of subjects offered at the Logistics and IT faculty, and experimented with as an alternative learning management system for remote students during the Covid-19 pandemic.
- Canvas API
A webapp recreation of and old puzzle game called Lights/Out, featuring three different board sizes / difficulties to play with. Created as part of a one-week assignment given in IBE110 Information Technology during my first semester at Molde University College.
Canvas Dark Mode
